Skimpy swimsuits and expensive purses, evening gowns, casual clothing with a rock 'n' roll aesthetic and denim galore.
"It's going to be just two days of fashion fantasy," said Joe Faris, the local designer who is an organizer of the event. "It's just going to be great. If you love fashion, it's a dream come true for metro Detroit."
The two-day celebration of fashion will take place at Motor City Casino's Soundboard in Detroit. Doors open at noon each day, and runway shows start at 1 p.m. Designers will also show their work in trunk shows that will take place at the end of both days.
